Our Laser Treatments

Medical laser treatments can address many minor skin conditions, including signs of ageing, redness, visible capillaries, pigmentation and freckling.

The precise reasons your skin develops these signs vary from person to person and can be hard to identify with certainty. Environment, genetics, lifestyle and other factors each play a role. The good news is each condition can be treated effectively.

For redness and capillaries, the laser penetrates the skin to safely diffuse the blood vessels. For pigmentation and freckles, the laser specifically targets the undesirable pigmentation at a cellular level to safely resolve the problem without affecting normal pigmentation.

At Zecca Cosmedical, we have multiple advanced lasers that give us the ability to treat most skin conditions.

Fraxel repair laser

Targeting sun damage, the Fraxel Repair laser is an innovative system that rejuvenates and resurfaces your skin. If you want immediate improvement, a light Fraxel Repair treatment can give you brilliant results in a single treatment. It is a procedure that’s perfect for younger clients seeking glowing skin. Or, if you have more textured skin through lines or acne scarring, the Fraxel Repair laser also has the capability to safely penetrate more deeply into your skin to promote healing and collagen production. As it requires a highly advanced Grade 4 laser, Fraxel Repair can only be performed by an accredited medical practitioner.

Quattro Skin Rejuvenation

Combining four treatments in one session, Zecca’s quattro service can target a variety of skin concerns and is tailored on an individual basis. Repeated over a 6 to 8 week period, the quattro option is your low and slow approach to skin rejuvenation. Each session also results in minimal to no recovery period. This approach is the gold standard for the treatment of melasma and overall rejuvenation. Expect this treatment option to tighten your skin, increase luminosity, decrease pigmentation and decrease sebaceous oil production all while minimising and refining pores.

excel V

Many individuals are affected with vascular skin conditions or pigmentation that is either cosmetic or chronic. These conditions can have a serious effect on the individual’s quality of life or well being. The excel V delivers precision treatment parameters to give us the flexibility to efficiently treat all cases, from deep and superficial vascular conditions to benign epidermal pigmented lesions.

Laser Genesis

The Cutera Genesis V utilises non invasive laser for multi-purpose, all season, all skin type solution for overall skin health. This hand-piece can be used for non-ablative laser skin therapy to treat uneven texture, pore size reduction, scar revision, diffuse redness and fine line wrinkles. The laser provides consistent results in a non-traumatic, safe and effective way.

Clear and Brilliant Laser

The Clear and Brilliant is a mini fraxel laser that has minimal downtime but gives Clear and Brilliant results. It’s a perfect rejuvenation laser. It improves fine lines, tone and texture giving an overall healthy appearance to the skin. We use the Clear and Brilliant to improve the appearance of pores and dyschromia.

Vascular laser

Laser light penetrates the outer layers of skin to reach the blood vessels below. Targeted blood vessels selectively absorb the energy in the beam and are destroyed by the brief but intense heat created. The body removes the damaged vessels gradually to normalise the skin’s appearance. Surrounding tissue is unaffected because it does not selectively absorb this wavelength of light. Vascular lasers are the ideal treatment for blood vessels and red blemishes close to the surface of the skin, particularly on the face, neck and chest.

Pigment removal

Freckles, age spots, sun spots, liver spots or plain old pigmentation: whatever you call it, irregular skin discolouration is a common and distressing problem caused by factors such as sun damage, some inflammatory skin disorders and hormonal fluctuations.

In its various forms, pigmentation affects more than 80 percent of women and men in their lifetime.

Pigmentation refers to changes in the melanin (pigment) of your skin, but there are different types and they do not all respond to the same treatments. It goes without saying that correct diagnosis of the type of pigmentation you’re experiencing is essential if you’re to benefit from treatment protocols.

Tattoo removal

Tattoos were once considered permanent. No longer! Above other techniques, laser tattoo removal gives you the best chance of returning your skin to its pre-tattooed state without scarring. Certain kinds of laser beam, such as our Medlite Q-switched YAG, are highly attracted to tattoo pigments. Through emitting extremely short pulses, they break down the pigments while transmitting minimal heat energy into your skin. Your body’s immune system safely removes the broken-down tattoo ink. As tattoos and skin types vary greatly, it may take multiple sessions to remove your tattoo, but the results will be worth it.
